Kentucky – The Kentucky Department of Education recently awarded Cisco a Kentucky Education Technology Systems (KETS) Server and Storage contract. Through its partnership with Cisco, Volta, Inc. has been selected to be a contract agent for quotes, purchasing and implementation services. It is available for use by the K-12 public Districts and Schools within the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

This contract enables the following entities to procure Cisco enterprise server, storage and services: KY Department of Education, KY’s Public School Districts, the KY School for the Blind (KSB), and the KY School for the Deaf (KSD), as well as the Education and Workforce Development Cabinet, which includes but is not limited to the KY Department of Education (KDE), KY Education Television (KET) and the Council of Postsecondary Education (CPE). 

This marks a historic milestone between Cisco, Volta, and the Kentucky Department of Education. This contract brings Cisco’s revolutionary portfolio of server products to Kentucky’s K-12 School Districts, allowing them to take advantage of a computing architecture designed for IT innovation and business acceleration.
