Sierra’s interest in technology developed as a teenager when she had the opportunity to work for an organization called B-Side in her hometown of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Her work with that organization consisted of cleaning up old computers and reselling them. Her love for technology continued to grow from there. She received a Bachelor of Science from University of Louisville, and went on to further her education by receiving a Master of Science from Purdue. Sierra enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and spending time with family and friends. She has a passion for mentoring young girls, and fostering their interests in technology and cybersecurity.
