Shana Watson
Executive Leadership
Shana Watson brings more than 20 years of experience to Volta. She began her career as an Accountant for Age International (now Buffalo Trace Distillery) and expanded her accounting career in the automotive industry and finally as the Controller of Kentucky Off-Track Betting, managing the financial operations of four off-track betting parlors. She started working at Volta in 2013. She manages Volta’s workforce and operations, while utilizing her financial and analytical skills.
Shana is focused on providing Volta’s employees a unique culture with exceptional benefits and professional development. She is tasked with all human resource duties; including payroll, benefits negotiation and administration, recruiting and hiring, and workforce development, management of Accounts Receivable, negotiation of property insurance rates and renewals, and whatever else pops up on a given day.
If we went to happy hour, what would you order? Depends on the location… local brewery = good craft beer, Mexican flare = margarita, however there is not much that can beat a good vodka/tonic – 2 limes please 🙂
