Chief Operating Officer
Miles Cox has been working with Volta for over nine years, originally working in sales and sales support. Since 2013, Miles has served as the Volta Director of Services, managing the technical and support staff and providing leadership of the services departments. In addition to his role as a functional manager, Miles also serves as a certified Project Manager at the company and has worked to create a formalized Project Management Office. His position requires close cooperation and coordination with the sales staff to create services offerings (including all outbound Statements of Work and Master Services Agreements), present these offerings to customers and to ensure overall services profitability. Miles manages company assets used in our Managed Services practice and the multi-year contracts in place to provide these assets to our customers.
In 2013, he was awarded the Valedictorian Award, the highest honor available at Volta, given to the employee who best embodies the company values of Stewardship, Fairness and Urgency among other considerations.
