Chief Operating Officer
Miles Cox has been working with Volta for over ten years, originally working in sales and sales support. In 2013, Miles was promoted to the Director of Services. In this role, Miles managed Volta’s professional services and managed IT services departments during a time of exponential growth. In addition to his role as a functional manager, Miles also served as a certified Project Manager at the company and worked to create a formalized Project Management Office. In his role as COO, Miles is responsible for the overall implementation of Volta’s business strategy, establishing polices that promote company culture and vision, and overseeing the daily operations of the company including sales, finance, and technical services.
In 2013, he was awarded the Valedictorian Award, the highest honor available at Volta, given to the employee who best embodies the company values of Stewardship, Fairness and Urgency among other considerations.
