Senior Account Executive
John Flora got his start in the IT industry 17 years ago when he worked for a start-up audio visual integration company called A|V|I|T in Northern Virginia. From there, he transitioned into missile defense and radar technology working for BAE Systems. He was part of the team that helped deploy the THAAD Missile system to the governments of South Korea and Israel. After his contract with BAE Systems was up, John moved to Miami Beach, Florida and began working at another startup, WiGeneration. They provided wireless mesh networks for developing countries, with a concentration on Dhaka, Bangladesh. At WiGeneration, he got to work with some amazing people and companies, and secured funding with Grameen Bank to create cyber cafés and provide laptops to schools and underserved communities. The company was eventually sold to the government of Bangladesh, and in 2019, John moved to Lexington ,Kentucky. His favorite hobbies include, golfing, skiing, spearfishing, family adventures and world travel.
